Optimax has developed a Manufacturing Tolerance Chart that lists tolerance specifications for a wide variety of optical components. Part size and quality level are primary factors in determining part specific tolerances. Other factors to be considered are component shape and material. Consult the Manufacturing Tolerance Chart below to determine appropriate tolerances and manufacturability of different optics.
