## Manufacturing Tolerance Chart

Optimax provides rapid delivery services for prototype optics ranging in size from 10 to 100mm. While a 10-week delivery is typical in the industry, Optimax offers a standard 6-week delivery, with the option for expedited deliveries in as little as 1 week. The Manufacturing Tolerance Chart offers guidelines for prototype optics with optical surfaces of f/1 or slower, made from Optimax Preferred Glasses. Consult this chart to determine the appropriate tolerances, and click on any attribute for a detailed definition.

Careful consideration should be given to the manufacturing tolerances. As a general rule, prices increase by about 50% when moving from Commercial to Precision, and by another 50% when advancing from Precision to High Precision.
