WHAT INTERESTED YOU IN JOINING THE PROGRAM?
I was influenced greatly by my coworkers. Any and everyone urged me to apply because it would be great exposure and beneficial for my career. I was interested in being able to start and produce a product, following it through all the necessary steps to finish it.
WHAT DO YOU SEE AS THE PAYOFFS OF COMPLETING THIS PROGRAM?
The ability to become fluid within Optimax. This means that I will be able to go and work anywhere that extra help may be needed whenever necessary while becoming a valuable asset to the company itself.
HOW DO YOU BALANCE SCHOOL AND WORK?
We have a lot on our plates and it can get really stressful at times. I have found that what works best for me is staying at school after class to finish all of my homework that same day.
WHAT OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE TO YOU AS AN APPRENTICE AT OPTIMAX?
I feel that the ball is in your court. You create opportunities. It is up to you to decide how far you can and will excel.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT THE POM APPRENTICE PROGRAM?
Constant change. Although stressful at times, I can guarantee you will never get bored. Learning all of the different operations of this company and the interactions and friendships made along the way make it worth it.
