INSPECTIONData Options
Optimax offers inspections data packages that are ISO compliant. Data can be provided in hard copy, electronic file or CD. Whenever possible your optics will be quoted with the testing costs included. Special testing services are available upon request. These are our standard inspection data packages:
 
Level I - Verification Data Packet provides a Certificate of Conformance.
- Deliverable: C of C only
Level II - Metrology Data Packet is standard for precision quality optics providing inspection data for each primary attribute.
- Deliverable: C of C, recorded data as a range for radius & irregularity (no plots), 100% recorded data for all other parameters, coating curves, melt data
Level III - Enhanced Metrology Data Packet is offered for projects that require a more complete documentation package. This is ideal for systems that may need post-fab optimization based on the actual metrology data.
- Deliverable: C of C, 100% recorded data radius & irregularity (including plots), 100% recorded data for all other parameters, coating curves, melt data

Assumptions & Definitions
Irregularity = Optimax frequently uses conventional test plates for fabrication of lenses. However, final inspection to verify optical surface irregularity is often performed with 633nm laser interferometers. If metrology data at a wavelength other than 633nm is required, then please specify the desired wavelength and Optimax will arrange for proper measurement.
Verify = inspection is performed to ensure compliance, no data is provided
Range = inspection is performed to ensure compliance, based on a sample audit
Data = actual measurement is recorded for each optic
Plot = surface metrology is used to capture the form of the optical surface, subapture testing may be employed to verify compliance
