Optimax has over 100 Opticians!
When presented with challenging requirements that exceed current manufacturing technology, Optimax will often work with the customer to develop capabilities that satisfy the project. For example, when given the opportunity to make lenses for the International Space Station Auto-docking Module with ridiculously tight centration tolerances, Optimax took the initiative to create a high-precision centering fixture. This enables us to cut the final diameter on the lenses within specification.
