Have an urgent delivery requirement? For these specific opportunities, Optimax maintains a sizable inventory of standard grade optical materials that should be utilized when quick delivery is critical. For glass types not found on our Preferred Glass Chart, please contact our sales department
to verify availability.
Please refer to our website (Manufacturing/References/Preferred Glass Chart) for the complete listing of over 40 glass types to select from.
Optimax processes other materials (glass, crystal and polymer) for requirements involving longer delivery. Some of these materials may cause a delay of 3 weeks or more. Keep in mind that radiation hardened glasses for space bound applications often require 6 weeks for delivery.

Optimax President Makes Top 10 List Small Business Person of the Year
Mike Mandina, President and founder of Optimax was recently honored as one of Rochester, New York's Top 10 Small Business Persons of the Year for 2002.
Each year, the Small Business council of the Greater Rochester Metro Chamber of Commerce Inc. honors individuals who exemplify business leadership and community involvement in the Rochester and Monroe County area. Finalists were judged by their contributions to a firm employing fewer than 250 people, impact within the company's industry and commitment to civic endeavors.
In addition to his role at Optimax, Mike is currently enrolled in the Executive MBA Program at Rochester Institute of Technology and works closely with the Wayne County Economic Development Corporation, the Finger Lakes Workforce Investment Board, and the Ontario Chamber of Commerce.

Optimax Employees and Families Get Into the Holiday Spirit
At Annual Holiday Cookie Decorating Party!
On December 14, Optimax employees and their families decorated over 300 cookies to kick-off the holiday season. This annual Optimax event involves employees and their family members to "get into the holiday spirit". The majority of the cookies were given to employees however some of the treats were eaten happily by the decorators themselves!
